Can you hula hoop? Can you roller skate? How about hula hooping over 100 hoops while roller skating and doing it all IN HEELS? If this sounds like a task only attainable by a superhero of a fashionable circus, then that super stylish heroine would be none other than Marawa The Amazing. Holding the Guinness Book of World Record’s title for most hula hoops hooped (200, that is), Marawa has performed all over the world, showing off her talent on stage with musicians like Major Lazer, brands like Kenzo, and even on Arab’s Got Talent, which she won.
A natural born traveler, Marawa grew up between Australia, Papua New-Guinea and the Middle-East, studying with the circus. Nowadays, however, Marawa calls Los Angeles, the ultimate city for unique talent, home and so we asked the epic performer to show us her city, her way.
