Graffiti W Taipei Says Ciao! to WOOBAR with Street Art Skate Park Pop-Up

W Taipei is never one to do things quietly. When they decided to renovate their world famous WOOBAR, the hotel went big by transforming the construction site into a pop-up skate park and street art installation. To make the event even more exciting, W partnered with Red Bull and Skate of Mind to turn the space into a graffitied-out skater’s paradise with quarter pipes, handrails, and fun boxes to fly off. Tommy Hilfiger upped the style with a fashion show, and POW! WOW! Taiwan set the scene by curating local and international artists to reinvent the walls. The party was a fitting farewell to six wild years at WOOBAR, whose doors will reopen to a totally revamped backdrop in 2018. Until then, peep all the fashion and fun that was.
