What’s the secret recipe for a killer band? Twin producer brothers with an affinity for ethereal orchestral beats, one front woman with a show-stopping voice, and a whole lot of soul. The Washington DC trio, SHAED (pronounced shade), consists of brothers Max and Spencer Ernst and Chelsea Lee, and brings old school emotion to nouveau sounds.
We caught up with the band before they performed in front of an energetic crowd at the W Fort Lauderdale renovation party. We talked to the rising stars about their inspiration, their alter egos, and what’s next on the horizon.
