Austin

THE RIO GRANDE

Indulge in one of our favorite signature cocktails served at W Austin, with a splash of south of the border charm. This fruity concoction is the perfect blend of sweet, sparkling and vacation-ready bliss.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 1.5 ounces Deep Eddy Ruby Red Vodka
  • 0.5 ounces St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 0.75 ounces fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 0.25 ounces fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 lemon or grapefruit halve

Now What:

  1. Pour over ice in a mixing glass.
  2. Mix with a shaker tin and strain over a fresh glass of ice.
  3. Top with a dry California sparkling, such as Mumm Napa.
  4. Garnish with a lemon or grapefruit wheel.

THE WATER TOWER

This tall libation was conceived when mixologist Eben Klemm was looking over the Living Room Bar and Terrace at W New York – Downtown, reflecting on the juxtaposition of old and modern architecture across the horizon. Taste the old and new New York all in one cocktail.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 ounces Bianco Vermouth
  • 2 ounces Watermelon Juice
  • 1 lime wedge

Now What:

  1. In an ice-filled long glass, pour ingredients.
  2. Stir and garnish with lime.
Buckhead

THE TWISTED STRAWBERRY

On Peachtree Street in the middle of “The Rodeo Drive of the South,” this guest favorite satisfies the thirsty sunbathers at the WET Deck from April to October. Dive into this sweet sip, courtesy of W Atlanta – Buckhead.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 4 fresh strawberries
  • 1.5 ounces Patron tequila
  • 0.5 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce agave syrup
  • 1 scoop ice

Now What:

  1. Muddle 3 strawberries in mixing glass.
  2. Mix with remaining ingredients in shaker tin and shake vigorously.
  3. Pour mixture into 12 ounces cup.
  4. Garnish with lime and last whole strawberry.
SouthBeach

THE TRES PALMAS

A Puerto Rican spin on the traditional Mojito. The mixologist at W South Beach  found inspiration in the ideal surfing and beaches of Rincon, Puerto Rico, where the primary agriculture includes fresh fruits and sugarcane.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 ounces aged rum
  • 1 ounce lime
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • Muddled blueberry or raspberry
  • Soda

Now What:

  1. Add ingredients to shaker tin and shake vigorously.
  2. Pour mixture into an ice-filled glass.
  3. Stir…and enjoy.

THE METROPOLITAN

Fans of the W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills crave a refreshing glass of class with a unique mix of rye and raspberry. Take a dive into this sweet cocktail that’s perfect by the pool.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 ounces Templeton Rye
  • 1 ounce grapefruit juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 2 – 3 basil leaves
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • Fresh raspberries

Now What:

  1. Pour ingredients into shaker tin and shake vigorously.
  2. Pour mixture over crushed ice.
  3. Garnish with raspberries.
Hollywood

THE RICH & FAMOUS

Have a taste of the glamorous life at the WET Deck with a play on champagne and caviar. This Ascendant Spirits’ vodka cocktail was custom-made especially for the W Hollywood.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 ounces American Star caviar lime vodka
  • 0.5 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce champagne

Now What:

  1. Pour vodka and lime juice into a shaker tin filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass.
  3. Top with champagne and lime wedge.
